Housing Tenants – How to file a grievance
A grievance procedure is a way for a tenant to challenge something the Public Housing Authority (PHA) did or failed to do. The process depends on the PHA lease for your building.
You can make your grievance orally or in writing. A hearing officer will decide what happens to your grievance.

Housing Tenants – Who can be on your lease
If someone else moves into your home, you have to tell the Public Housing Authority (PHA) in writing and get an approval. The PHA keeps a list of who can live in your home. The list is on the certification form and lease. If you don't tell the PHA who lives in your household, you can be evicted and the unapproved people can be charged with trespass.
Important Rights of Public Housing and RAD
People in federally subsidized housing have the right to have their rent based on their income (generally 30% of gross household income including benefits like social security and wages earned by adults).
