Zoom In light of the upcoming change in government, you may have several questions about how this change might impact your case, and whether you or any family members are at risk.
- If you have a pending case, it is important that you carry a copy of your USCIS receipts proving that you have a pending immigration case. If you have been granted a “Bonified Determination” or an Employment Authorization Card, you should carry those as well. If you have lost copies of any of your documents, please contact our office and we can assist.
- If your case has not yet been filed, please reach out to our office for a letter of representation to show proof that you are a victim of domestic violence or other crime.
- Ensure that you have a local identification (New York State license or ID, County ID) and use that identification, and not your foreign passport or national identification.
- If you have a previous order of deportation, your attorney will be reaching out to you to discuss.
We have scheduled general information sessions about your rights on the following dates, and encourage you to attend. Please note that we will not be able to answer questions about your specific case.
